Following the sudden resignation of Anthony Critchley before Christmas, we are delighted that local businessman Roger Morris has been selected to stand for the Crewe Central Ward on 8th February!
Roger has run his family’s business on West Street for over 35 years and during the pandemic, donated the use of the business premises to the NHS as the local Covid Vaccination centre, where hundreds of thousands of Cheshire East residents were able to access life-saving jabs!
Roger is already committed to serving his community and sees this opportunity to become a Cheshire East Councillor as the next stage in the work he does. As he explains;
“Hello! I'm Roger Morris, your local candidate in the Crewe Central by-election in February.
As a local business owner on West Street, I’m standing in the upcoming by-election to become your local councillor.
I want to WORK IN YOUR AREA for local residents to TACKLE ISSUES such as potholes, litter, fly tipping, parking problems, street lighting, and anti social behaviour to MAKE OUR AREA BETTER.
I've been out and about around Crewe Central working to get things fixed, including potholes, fly tipping, broken street lights and issues that affect road safety such as damage to the zebra crossing on West Street.
Our area has been neglected and we desperately need improvements in our Ward.
PLEASE VOTE for me, Roger Morris on the 8th of February, so I can WORK HARDER to make our area a better place to live.
