Enormous thanks to Roger Morris, (our Crewe Central candidate) for organising a desperately needed litter-pick event this morning at the Derby Docks Park and surrounding area.
Roger often picks up the litter in the Ward but recently the park has been particularly bad in terms of litter and fly-tipped waste. Thanks must also go to all those who turned out to help; both ward residents and friends and colleagues from other areas
A significant number of green bags were filled and larger items removed. This important public open space is looking a far more appealing place to be and it’s hoped that on-going letter collection will be a bit more manageable - a great team effort - thank you!
