Police and Crime Commissioner - election 6 May 2021 - Conservative Candidate, John Dwyer has been elected as Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner!
Many Congratulations to John Dwyer who has been returned as Cheshire Police & Crime Commissioner this Thursday! We’d like to extend our Thanks to all those who have supported his campaign and most importantly, to all those residents of Cheshire who voted for him!
This election was delayed for twelve months following the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020 and campaigning had to be adapted to ensure that both campaigners and the electorate remained ‘Covid-secure’! Nonetheless in Crewe & Nantwich over 15,000 leaflets were delivered together with personalised ‘Get out the Postal Vote’ letters and GOTV leaflets on poling day itself!
John started poling day in the Crewe & Nantwich constituency in the Wybunbury Ward with Cllr Janet Clowes, knocking on doors and getting out the Conservative vote before moving onto Tatton and then Warrington.
