Following Consideration of local Infection Rates, whilst Cheshire East Borough has infection rates that are below the National Average, the figures have not come down as quickly as hoped and our NHS facilities remain under pressure. In order to avoid our Hospitals and Care services being overwhelmed with Covid-19 cases, the decision has been made to maintain the current Tier 2 (HIGH ALERT) Restrictions.
